Aside from great documentaries and
reality shows, Netflix also have some great anime. Namely: Castlevania,
Fate/Apocrypha, or Sinbad. Even if some of non Netflix’s Originals is quite
good, like Shokugeki no Souma, Haikyu!!, or Tokyo Ghoul. I’m not an hardcore
otaku or anime fan, rarely watched them. The latest anime I watched the whole
season was Fate/Stay Night unlimited blade works. It is so good i watched it
ten times.
First anime i watched at netflix
was the Garden of Words. Its a story about a student who freqiently visit a
woman on a garden only when its rain. They wil exchange words about daily life,
food, or simply dreams. Slowly but sure, the student fell for the woman. Then
one day, he finds out that the woman is an outgoing teacher at his school.
The story of this movie is quite
simple. How to scarred soul discover and heal each other. The most
distinguished one about this movie is how good its animation. Its like 2D
animation shot in 3D camera. The distance between objects looks so real. The
face of its character is quite proportional, unlike some anime’s which have
large eyes.
Other notable anime is Sinbad. Yes
its a story retold bazillion times with different angle, twist, and backstory.
What makes Netflix’s version different is its simplicity. Per episode only 25
minutes. Could be watched within commuter time. And really entertaining. The
story is not too hard to digest.
